We are a private limited company with around 200 employees, some of whom have retired after attaining 58 years of service. Due to an outside agency audit, some of the employees need to sign in with their old designation. My first question is whether they can use their old designation ever after their retirement. If yes, then PF and other welfare commitments apply.
We have hired them again but as retainership on fixed remuneration monthly. but those external agency have not accepted this retainership type of words.

If your company has a policy for providing extension of service after superannuation, you can give a two-year extension, as continuity of service Create a policy for extension of senior management cadre personnel on a case-to-case basis and to meet business needs. It will solve all your problems. Make the policy with retrospective effect... may be March 2023 onwards.
Best wishes
