Hi
One thing u have to keep in mind is the knowledge you acquire from the cirriculum will help you understand the concept and not exactly how it is practised. All courses will make stronger in your thought process to execute any functions of HR is concern.
Now to your query, there are lots of course in our country like part time diploma course offered by XLRI, IIM-C, SHRM (not diploma) which you can do it from your place (nearest centre), You can check the time frame and enroll, because this part time course are carried out in live-mode. Also you will become the alumini of any institute you prefer. You will get practical knowledge as many associate from various places will be a part of it.

Hi Anuradha,, well you have lot of experience, from last 6 yrs you are working and its quite good that you are looking generalist profile in HR from lst 3 yrs.. The very first mistake you have done is that you didn't do your Masters side by side in HR. but its also fine that you got lot of experience in HR. but generalist is not a kind of coordinator profile. also you mentioned that no Sr. is there then why don't you handle all the core terms of HR in your co. you have experience. you can go for all the core work of HR in you co. too. Start handling the issues related to core term. Short term I wouln't suggest. you have enough exp. now you don't require any short term course to get particular knowledge for a single term. yes study is obviously helpful everytime but all this you can do practically in your current co. Also you can apply somewhere if you are not much satisfy with this co. as you don't have any Sr. profile upon you so no body will guide you exactly.. but it can be positive for your growth or negative too. now its all depend on you.
