Hi Azmal,
I think matching the job descriptions will be a great idea and if we can create a a third one by taking the the relevant part from the two would be a good learning.
I am working in a IT firm so I am not exposed to the Sales JD's can plz forward one tom me for this exercise in case you have one.

Hi Rajnish,
I agree that a little bit of selling is needed in the initial stages and in the later stages if the recruiter has done the job well the baton of selling passes on to the candidate coz he is one who packages and tries to sell his skills for the position.

Hi Aditi...
You should not be sorry for finding a old friend... What ever the forum may be....
As for the discussion... See is has become more lively....
You as a HR person are using the skills of Marketing Person =
Using All the Media available to contact your client [in this case your Friend]
So here i have one more point in favour of Sales people

reason why i gav dat advice was bcz lot of non-memberz view the posts... if u reveal ur contacts here on the posts... it cld prove harmful for r u in future....at member blogs only memberz can access it depending on the settings u make.....mre over dilution happenz bcz discussion breakz...
anywayz no sorrys...here we r a citehr family....& things do happen...
