HR and Admin both are different fields.................
Admin part includes attendance of employees, leaves,

Recruitment, selection, induction, training and development, performance appraisal, file mgmt, conflicts resolution etc............

Hi All,
I believe i am here to share my knowledge to every one..
I would be glad if i share my Knowledge to students because i do understand the circumstances & when i was students i didn't have any body to guide me regards to Course's, subjects, Exams, Presentations, Seminars, Projects etc, although i have done myself but not in a proper manner.

If i would get some body to guide me on those days then i would have done things in a proper manner and might have learn many things related to my Specialization / subjects and practical knowledge..
I appreciate all students enrolling and discussing with us on Cite HR..

Hope even other fellow understand my view and help students to make his/her career

Note: Knowledge sharing, Training, Development and Making careers is a HR duty…

Ishamahan <link updated to site home> , Namita and shaik, I would be glad if you Guys share your support to my above words…

Dear Mr. Siraj

I appreciate your transparency and views about your past. Infact the same thing happened with me as well, as my parents are not graduates, but i still manage to travel my journey on my own, with the grace of ALMIGHTY.

HR is like a OCEAN and it is a DOMAIN. HR plays a vital role in shaping an individuals career. HR is a COST CENTER for any organisation and even supports ORGANISATIONAL GROWTH as we are held responsible for RECRUITING RIGHT TALENT, NOURISHING/UNLEASHING HIDDEN TALENT, RETENTION, SUCCESSION PLANNING and more.

HR needs TOP MANAGEMENT SUPPORT and the relationship between HRM and TOP MANAGEMENT should be like "SOUL & HUMAN BODY", where SOUL is HR and HUMAN BODY is TOP MANAGEMENT.

I do understand STUDENTS MENTALITY on the whole and wants to do something on my own. But, it is the institution owners who never came forward to support STUDENTS GROWTH, as they were COMMERCIAL MINDED(entrepreneurs). Henceforth there are LIMITATIONS everywhere.

Moreover, we need to change our mentality and extend our hand for helping students and employees by directing them towards right path.

Today, I really got disappointed when the thread "JUDGE MY CEO" was deleted. With great difficult we accumulate views and post with an intention to help others and gain knowledge/information which is not available everywhere. I made my mind not to post anything on this community. It is we who are not PROMOTING HONESTY/TRUTH. Why one is committing MISTAKES? What are the reasons associated with MISTAKES..? Its just because TRUTH is buried deep. Everyone should know the FACT, even if its NEGATIVE, else, how one can differentiate between POSITIVE & NEGATIVE?

Information related to ACADEMICS is available in abundance but HONEST/SINCERE/TRUTHFUL SUGGESTIONS associated with KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE is difficult to locate.

Forgive me if i was wrong because I AM VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD PERSON and support HONESTY, SINCERITY, LOYALTY, DEDICATION and HARDWORK because, very few love to speak the FACTS

GOOD LUCK...

with profound regards

Shaik,
I do respect your suggestion and even i found you are very straight forward but even though you had all ways given right suggestion's...
If a person could not catch up the write things then let them live their live in their own way. This doesn't mean's that we must stop discussion / posting...

hello

the first question is an easy one and can be had from any book or from a person who has little experience.

but the second question is little tricky one and need application of mind.

Q2. Provide an example to explain that HR Manager must be consulted while taking any

important decision.

I agree HR is an important function. It is called Human Resources and not Man resources. Since we are dealing with human, who has got all the emotions. Any decisions will affect the human beings. It is true in a family how a decision in a house will make or break a home. It is true that with a company also.

Normaly important decisins will be taken by the top management and it is details and other decisions are taken by HR and so it is respinsible for the implementation. Though everyone wants to take decision it is better to take into confidence all the concerned. It is where HR comes into the picture. It has to do ground work and prepare the ground for the same. Normally HR has information of all the employees and they are said to be in constant touch with all the employees.Hence HR has to be consulted.

As the Finance dept deals with money and they are keepers of the record of transactions, all the financial dealings will be referred to them, all decisions which affect the employees are to be consulted.

Since the HR is an important cog in the machinery, it should not get over whelmed by thsi, The other important function of HR is to see that they work as team, not boast themselves as important department.

all other functions are academic and will be known by all

these are some of my views.

Dear Siraj, Khadir, Nagaraj and others,
I also come from similar backgrounds. My father studied only up tp Intermediate and my mother did not study beyond primary school as they lived in very small villages. However, my father ensured that his children all were educated (not just qualified). Unlike nowadays, when the web facility is there, in our days even textbooks were difficult to get.
I have settled in Uk now and I conduct seminars and workshops to impart what little extra knowledge that I have gained by studying in Uk and also working here. However, I am only prepared to help those who help themselves rather than give answers on-a-plate to those that seek answers without trying. THE BEST WAY TO SEEK INFORMATION IS TO SEND AN ANSWER TO A QUESTION AND SEEK HELP TO IMPROVE THAT.
Have a nice day

Dear Mr. Simhan
From the beginning i had been appreciating your student motivation methodology which is the PRACTICAL in nature but, INDIAN STUDENTS MENTALITY and our EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS is quite different when compared with WESTERNERS, as we highly appreciate those who provide us READY MADE SOLUTIONS - SPOON FEEDING METHODOLOGY.

Yes, we Indians are educated but not qualified to a larger extent, its again because of our(Indian) educational standards/system. Even those graduated from IIM's are not able to compete with those who possessing couple years of experience, but still we find many B-SCHOOLS promoting themselves in a unique way. OUTPUT is not ALIGNED WITH CREATIVITY as the APPROACH is NOT RESEARCH ORIENTED.

The only reason why WESTERN EDUCATION SYSTEM has true value because of their RESEARCH ORIENTED APPROACH, which had developed READING SKILLS, LISTENING SKILLS, CREATIVITY in students. The same approach we can even implemented in CITEHR. SYSTEMATIC PROCEDURE - STEP BY STEP PROCESS, is mandatory for students posting their queries. RESEARCH based on KEYWORDS or INDEX providing link to various TOPICS of HRM. The process has to be SIMPLIFIED and PERFECTLY DEFINED SYSTEM. I believe, little modifications in citehr can help our students to inculcate creativity. We need to educate our students.

I had mentioned earlier that i understood students mentality(psychology) and one has to deal with them with utmost care. I had even came across ADAMANT/ARROGANT STUDENTS who told me that "if you had come up in your life by struggling hard, it doesn't mean that, i have to follow your foot steps". There are instances in citehr, where students wrote INFORMALLY(impolite nature, no sign of discipline while addressing others though it is their requirement) demanding information, as if we are hired to solve their queries. I sincerely felt pitty on students because they are not either trained properly or educated.

1) Its better we change our approach and request CITEMAN NETWORK to implement SYSTEMATIC PROCEDURES in citehr enabling students to acquire information based on RESEARCH ORIENTED METHODOLOGY.
2) CITEHR should make them spend time in gathering information rather just allowing students to post their queries without evaluating CITEHR.
3) TIME spent by students for gathering information should be worth enough to be appreciated by them. Students should learn the VALUE OF TIME(EXPERIENCE)
4) Students should be compelled to make best use of TECHNOLOGY.

We all can succeed in helping students in inculcating good habits, if the proprietor of CITEHR(CITEMAN NETWORK) can work on our request.

Kindly do correct me, if i am wrong.

With profound regards
