Hi Team!

Recently we are following Red Tag box policy in our office.

Red tag is Red colour box kept in main office area, View & Access by all employees. We request all employees to keep all excess, extra & doubtful items, which are lying in your drawer / cabinets such as Pen, Pencil, any Stationery items, Blank pages, unused Envelops, note pads etc. to keep in that box every week on Saturday.
All the Red tag items will be displayed by Front Officer every Monday on Notice board. All the Red Tag item, will recycle within the branch to reduce the cost of ordering the new items.
Hope all you wil like & impliment the same policy to reduce cost in yr office.

dear jayasreee
dont get disheartened by members not joining your thread. it's a common behaviour of humans to avoid anything that embarrassing to them. giving back some thing that is drawn for use is thought to be overestimation work which one may think not return or reveal. so shoot your target and tell me how far u have sucessful i reducing the recurring expenses on these items such as stationery.

Dear Balaji..........

Let me clear your doubts one by one.... 1st of all we are here as member in cite hr to share & write view... there is no point of embarrassment...

1st: All post are information & appreciated by all... I always make sure to share good information with all my hr/ admin team members...

2nd: Red tag box policy works. Before asking justification & cost.... why don't you think on it as Admin point of view? Red Tag policy is actually common & used by many corporate as it is method of Japanese style FIVE S... But I think you are not aware of it, that’s why u r asking such questions.

When we have started working on Red tag policy, we found Stationery in box such as Stapler, Push pins, Pencil, pens, puch machine, eraser, rubbers, plastic folders, broachers, form etc. This item helps me reduce my monthly cost & that particular month I have not order stationery so it also save my stationery bill for ordering new items.

Hope above clearing all your doubts related to Red Tag policy... for more information please feel free to contact me on

Requesting you not to upload de-motivate statement in open forum.... which highlight writer’s behavior & nature.

Regards,

Jayshree

No this method is not incomplete will be complete once to start implementing in yr office. It is part of Japaneses FIVE S system... Initially you have start it with Stationery... Normally stationery is those item which normally many people are having more than one in their cabinets & drawers... such case, employee can retain one & extra or another can give back to admin to recycle the same to new user or another user @ the same time we can reduce the cost of ordering the new material.
I m from Insurance industry.... It helps me because we have lots of forms/ brochures & many other office material is lying in employees drawers.
Red Tag box policy helps to me recycle the red tag box material to another user & reduce my cost on ordering new material.
let me if u need more clarification on the same.
