Hi Friends,
Jab itni love poem Jhel lee hain to please ek aur Jhel lena.... I just cannot resist myself to post the same.... because, I fear.... I would be outdated... if I do not post a love poem ASAP :-P
Anyway, Kavita Prastut hai... Angrezi mein hai... as the tradition is...
She was a phantom of delight
When first she gleamed upon my sight. A lovely Apparition, sent To be a moment's ornament. Her eyes as stars of Twilight fair Like Twilight's, too, her dusky hair; But all things else about her drawn From May-time and the cheerful Dawn. A dancing Shape, an Image gay, To haunt, to startle, and way-lay.
I saw her upon a nearer view, A Spirit, yet a Woman too! Her household motions light and free, And steps of virgin liberty; A countenance in which did meet Sweet records, promises as sweet. A Creature not too bright or good For human nature's daily food; For transient sorrows, simple wiles, Praise, blame, love, kisses, tears, and smiles.
And now I see with eye serene The very pulse of the machine; A Being breathing thoughtful breath, A Traveler between life and death; The reason firm, the temperate will, Endurance, foresight, strength, and skill; A perfect Woman, nobly planned, To warm, to comfort, and command; And yet a Spirit still, and bright, With something of Angelic light.
:)
Corrected Spelling and Grammar:
- "cannot" instead of "can not"
- "myself" instead of "my self"
- "because" instead of "becoz"
- "Angezi" instead of "Angrezi"
- Proper punctuation throughout the poem.

Chitra... Woh ek imaginary Phantom of LOVE hai... aur woh... hai...
A perfect woman, nobly planned,
To warm, to comfort, and command;
And yet a spirit still, and bright,
With something of Angelic light. :icon1:
Thanks for the appreciation... :-P

Hello Manoj,
Good one.... :)
Manoj, aapki phantom kavita padne ke baad mujhe aisa laga ki...
Naseeb azmaane ke din aa rahe hain. Qareeb un ke aane ke din aa rahe hain.
Jo dil se kaha hai, jo dil se suna hai,
Sab unko sunaane ke din aa rahe hain.
Abhi se dil-o-jaan sar-e-raah rakh do,
Ke lutne lutaane ke din aa rahe hain.
Tapakne lagi un nigaaho se masti,
Nigahein churaane ke din aa rahe hain.
Saba phir hamein poochhati phir rahi hai,
Chaman ko sajaane ke din aa rahe hain.
Chalo "Manoj" phir se kahin dil lagaaye.
Sunaa hai thikaane ke din aa rahe hain... :-D
Regards,
AK
