Some of our employees' EPF contributions (pension contributions) show 0 in ECR. We enquired with our third party, who handles EPF & ESI-related tasks, and they responded that it comes automatically. Our organization aims to deposit Employer Contribution into their Pension account from the date of joining, starting from 01.08.2024. Kindly suggest.

Steps to Ensure EPF Employer Contribution Reflects Correctly in ECR

✓ Verify Employee Details:
- Check if the affected employees' details are correctly entered, especially the EPF contribution information.

✓ Rectify Data Discrepancies:
- Ensure that the EPF contribution details in the system are accurate and up to date for each employee.

✓ Coordinate with Third-Party Provider:
- Communicate the specific requirement of depositing Employer Contribution from the joining date to the third-party handling EPF & ESI tasks.

✓ Review Automation Settings:
- Confirm with the third party that the automation settings are correctly configured to reflect the Employer Contribution.

✓ Seek Confirmation:
- Request the third party to verify the settings and processes to ensure the EPF contributions are processed accurately.

✓ Utilize EPF Guidelines:
- Refer to the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) guidelines for any specific regulations regarding Employer Contributions.

✓ Track Contributions:
- Regularly monitor the EPF contributions to ensure consistency and accuracy in the ECR filings.

By following these steps and collaborating effectively with the third party, you can address the issue of EPF contributions not reflecting correctly in the ECR.
