Maternity Act and Employee Rights

Can anyone help me with the Maternity Act and what are the rights of an employee if the employer does not allow the employee to complete the minimum tenure required to avail of maternity benefits?

I joined the organization on March 2nd, 2022, and conceived after a month. I informed the employer about my pregnancy. However, they stopped assigning me any work and pressured me to go on leave due to pregnancy complications that restrict travel. They informed me that the role they initially assigned to me has been terminated, and the new roles require my presence in the office.

Up to this point, I have not been provided with any Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or job roles. Could you please guide me on what steps I should take next?

Maternity Benefits Eligibility

Further to the information provided above, my 80 days of minimum qualification will be completed on June 24, 2022. Please advise me on how I can avail of maternity benefits as my expected delivery date is in the first week of December.
