Dear Seniors,

Our company is an Internet Service Provider based in Chennai with a workforce of 70 employees. 75% of our employees are in technical roles, and most of these technical staff are hired as freshers, either through referrals or job consultants.

For the recruitment of experienced technical employees, we do not conduct background checks as the numbers are very low. However, in some cases, we have discovered instances of fraudulent activities by employees post-employment. Due to the small number of experienced hires, we have not considered engaging a verification firm for this purpose.

I am seeking advice from seniors on practical and effective ideas to address this issue.

Hi,

Why don't you talk with your HR to conduct background verification for such employees if the employee count is less? HR can send employment verification forms/mails to the employee's previous organization to seek feedback.

Search CiteHR; you will find many forums on employment verification forms/formats.

Thanks and Regards,
