I have worked exactly six months in my company. My query is, am I eligible to get PF and pension benefits for exactly six months? Or, if I work for another five days, will it be considered as more than six months, and can I get pension benefits? Kindly clarify for me.

Dear Mr. Goutham,
PF is a retirement fund, not a crisis fund. Please focus on working and getting your PF account transferred consequent to a change of job. To be eligible for a pension, you have to complete 10 years of membership. In the case of the death of a member, the nominee and children (below 25 years of age) will get a pension. Focus on your career and building a retirement fund.
Thank you.
