I am working in a small IT firm (having below 20 employees) as an HR Executive for 1 year. I handle all the basic HR work like employee data recording, leave management, recruitment planning, interviews, salary negotiation, performance appraisal, etc. As the company is small, I am the only HR person. My performance is always appreciated by our management team. Should I get promoted to the HR Manager position, or does it take more years to reach that position? Or, in the case of a small-scale organization, is promotion rapid?
