Two things:

Firstly, if you want to go down this path of games, etc., then everything you do needs to be aligned with the corporate goals of YOUR organization. What other people do in their organizations may not be appropriate for you. Start by developing a Training Plan, and from that, you can decide what activities you need to support the learning objectives.

Secondly, games, icebreakers, energizers, etc., are NOT the be-all and end-all. I know people think they are necessary, but it is just a trendy thing that people do. Not everyone is comfortable with these things—I am a trainer, and I DON'T LIKE them when I go to training courses. Many people will go to great lengths to avoid attending training if they think they are going to have to play games or be put on the spot in some way. No training will succeed if the attendees are not comfortable.
