I have left the organization's service 10 years ago. I have received my PF contribution from the PF office. I need to know how to apply for the EPF Scheme for a certificate (pension). How does this scheme work? Do I have to go to my last employer again to get this done?

Thanks, Anna

Dear All,

You have to apply in your current organization for withdrawal of PF & Pension amounts. The following forms need to be submitted for the withdrawal process:

- Form - 19 (PF)
- Form - 10 C (Pension)

You can download these forms from [EPFO](http://www.epfindia.com).

Thank you.

Hi Dhruv, these forms need to be submitted in the PF office. Your HR (previous company) would do the needful. Just fill the form and send it to your HR Department and follow up with them. They will submit the form and you can check your claim status on the same site. Keep a record of your EPF A/c number.

Hi....I am having a doubt regarding scheme certificate under EPS. Can we avail it before ten years of continious service. If yes, then how? Please clarify???

Dear Ritu Dhanik,

The Scheme Certificate under EPS is meant for those who left PF before attaining the age of 58 years. There is no question of the length of service. Ten years' service is for pension, and it has nothing to do with the scheme certificate.

Fill out Form 10C, get it endorsed by the concerned employer, and submit it to the Office of RPFC. If all the necessary information is furnished satisfactorily, you may receive the scheme certificate within one month.

When you join another service, you can easily add up the previous service with the help of the scheme certificate. If you are unable to add it up with any future service, the scheme certificate may be utilized for pension or withdrawal benefits, as the case may be.
