Hi Sanjana,

I believe one should possess both traits to enhance one's life, both professionally and personally. It is essential to be honest when interacting with people, as honesty brings rewards, and one should maintain faith in oneself and others to accomplish tasks successfully.

I welcome others to share their perspectives as well.

Julie

The question is ambiguous. Faithful to whom? Under what circumstances you want to be faithful as well honest? It appears you haave a particular situation. -Arun

Hi Sanjana,

From my point of view, you should be both faithful and honest to everyone. Unfaithfulness and dishonesty bring short-term benefits, while a person who is faithful and honest gains in the long term.

Being faithful means you are faithful to someone, but if you are honest, then you are honest and honest for everyone.

If you are faithful to someone, then you will automatically be honest with that person.

It is being faithful to yourself; your spouse; your family and friends ; and your employer and colleagues. You can be honestly unfaithful to someone and you can be unhonestly yet faithful to someone.

To my opinion trait is intrinsic built internally and is reflected in personality of an individual. I think honesty, sincerity, discipline, morality, efficiency, etc. are the character of trait.

You are talking about values in life, whether professional or personal.
Honesty is a thing that is under your control. You can be honest with yourself or with others; it depends on you.
On the other hand, being faithful depends on others with whom you have a relationship. It is a two-way process. If someone is faithful to you, you should also be faithful to them.

Hi! all
Both honest and faithful are different status of pure mind. They are divine virtues and gifted by Supreme Authority. But due to law of deterioration, human mind got polluted and accordingly vices got mixed up with these virtues causing behavioural pollution in all spheres including honesty and faithful. Hence, now a days no one on this earth is 100 per cent honest and faithful.
Taking pure form of behaviour into account, I can say that faithful (either to self, younger ones, homogeneous or elders) comes from honesty. Honesty sends its vibrations and influences one’s behaviour and on the other hand faithful activities (combined with other virtues) make a man honest.
In shortly, “honesty influences faith” and “faithful identifies honesty”
Hence honest without faithful can not be called as “pure honest” and faithful in absence of honest is meaning less and used only for name’s sake.
