Hi,
Some employees had submitted cash vouchers pre-signed by them to the Cashier and never received the cash. The Cashier resigned, and the said amount was deducted from his Full and Final Settlement based on the complaints from the employees. Now the Cashier is demanding the amount deducted from his F & F and approaching people from the organization. Also note that the performance of the Cashier was not satisfactory.
Seek advice on the further course of action to be taken in this matter. Should we issue a legal notice to the Cashier, and if yes, on what grounds should we resort to?
Please advise.
