Hi all,

Please help me sort out my problem. One of our employees joined us 10 days ago, and now her husband has joined our competitor. The issue is that both of them work in the same domain, increasing the possibility of sharing company secrets. Please suggest the appropriate actions.

Hi Bhumika,

What you are fearing is true, but I must ask you something. Haven't you had the employees of your company sign the 'Employment Confidentiality Agreement' and 'Employee Non-Compete Agreement'? These are two very important agreements that a company must ensure are signed and kept on record. They include all the rules and regulations of the company that an employee should follow. Violation of any of these rules might result in legal action. If you have not done so yet, I strongly recommend that you take care of this immediately. Don't worry. :)
