Half-Day Workers: Should They Get a Full Day's Pay When Taking Leave?

Is anyone working on half day basis is entitled for full day’s salary against leave?

Yes, he can draw full day salary for half day working, provided he applies leave and sanctioned by competent authority and also he should have leave balance to his credit for half day or more.

In terms of Leave Rules as applicable to public service, half day leave is permissible only in respect of Casual Leave, and not otherwise.
