As a Labour Contractor (proprietary concern) operating in Bangalore with less than 100 workers on contract, is it necessary to register with:
a) Shops and Commercial Establishment Act and/or
b) Labour License
or both?

Yes Sir. You need to take both Registration Certificate under Shops and Establishment Act and if you have engaged in contract work then License under Contract Labour Act. With Regards N Mohan

If you are supplying more than 20 workmen, the principal employer will issue Form V, and you will need to apply for a license under CLR & A.
