Can My Company Deduct Professional Tax If I'm Working in Gurgaon but It's Registered in Mumbai?


The Company I work for is registered in Mumbai but I work at the Gurgaon office. Can the company still deduct professional tax from me?

Technically speaking, they should be deducting PT based on the place of work. Gurgaon is in Hariyana. Hariyana has PT, so they can deduct and pay it to the appropriate authority.
