Internal Redressal Mechanism

There may be an Internal Audit Department, Help Line, Corporate HR, or Top Management to address such malpractices and rectify them. If these avenues prove unresponsive, the next step would be to file a complaint with the inspecting authority under the Payment of Wages Act. If your establishment is a factory, you can approach the Director of Factories in your area. If it is a shop or establishment, you may seek remedy from the Labour Enforcement Officer or Assistant Commissioner of Labour.
