One of our employees served the company more then 6 years and he is absconding for the last two years, please suggest how to calculate gratuity 6years or 8 years.

Dear Sir, There is no need to pay gratuity for 8 years. You can calculate and pay for 6 years (upto his last working) only, If the employee came and applied.
