Hello sir, Please help me. On October 27, 2018, I joined an organization and worked for one and a half years. On March 30, 2020, I resigned. My employer made a mistake in my name in the PF account. I requested a correction, and they changed it. I updated my PAN card and Aadhar details, but the employer entered the wrong name in the bank details. Despite me providing the correct details, my name remains wrong in my passbook. When I asked my employer, they only showed me the bank passbook, stating they cannot change the bank details as I have already left the organization. They advised me to visit the PF office to rectify this. I tried updating my bank details, but an error message appears, stating my bank details are already associated with my UAN. My PF claim has been rejected twice. Additionally, I am concerned about the calculation of the employer's share in my PF, as it seems lower than expected.
How can I resolve these issues and ensure I receive my PF amount?

🔒 Rectifying Name Error in PF Account:
To address the incorrect name in your PF passbook, follow these steps:
1. Contact your previous employer in writing, emphasizing the error and requesting them to correct it in the PF records.
2. If the employer does not respond, submit a written complaint to the regional PF office explaining the situation and providing necessary proof of your correct name.
3. Visit the PF office in person with valid identification and proof of correct name change, such as an updated PAN card and Aadhar details, to request the correction directly.
🔔 Resolving Bank Details Issue:
Regarding the bank details error, as your UAN already has existing bank details, you can try the following:
1. Log in to the Unified Portal using your UAN and password to verify and update your bank details.
2. If you encounter errors, contact the PF Helpdesk for assistance in updating your bank information.
🔨 Ensuring Full PF Withdrawal:
To ensure you receive your full PF amount, address the concern about the employer's contribution:
1. Review your PF statements to verify the contributions made by both you and your employer.
2. If discrepancies exist, raise a complaint with the PF office, providing evidence of your correct share and requesting a reevaluation of the contributions.
🚥 Additional Tips:
- Keep copies of all communications and documents related to your PF for reference.
- Stay persistent and follow up regularly with both your previous employer and the PF office until the issues are resolved satisfactorily.
