Dear colleague, you need to comply with health and safety provisions under the Factories Act and State rules as a first step. Then undertake a safety and health awareness program by putting appropriate picture posters and safe working procedures at important locations in the workplace. Conduct suitable training programs by experts in the field. Have periodical medical check-ups done for all workers. Maintain shop floor cleanliness and proper walkways free from obstacles. The above are random thoughts, and you could build on them further.
