Can anyone guide me on whether HR is required to pay a One Rupee stamp duty on salary payments made through NEFT/Electronic Mode? If not, kindly share any authentic notification regarding the same.
No need for a signature on a revenue stamp. Only a written declaration with bank details and a canceled cheque leaf is enough. Then, on the wage payment date, transferring to the declared bank account is legally safe and correct.
