Hello all,
My current company has a 2-month notice period with a buyout option. I have already served one month's notice, and I want to buy out the other month, but my manager is not agreeing. HR is saying that only if the manager agrees, there will be a buyout.
How can I proceed in this situation? I am mentally frustrated working there, and I cannot take any further days in my current organization.

When your functional head insists on you serving the entire notice period purely in the interest of the organization's work, you have no other choice. If it is otherwise, better seek an audience with the CEO and politely explain the necessity for your early relief based on the buy-out option to make your exit quick and peaceful.
