My manufacturing company is a startup in Bangalore, and we operate in the engineering industry with 80 employees across two units. We are currently in the process of factory registration, and I anticipate receiving the factory license soon.

My question is whether the payment of employer contributions to the PF will be covered by the central government under the PMRY scheme. If so, what are the procedures to be followed under various acts, and how can I ensure that my industry is included in this scheme? Are there any limitations or obligations? I would appreciate an explanation at your earliest convenience.

PMRPY is an incentive scheme available for fresh employment who draw GROSS SALARY below 15000/- per month. To avail PMRPY, the unit has to get registered at Shram Suvidha portal, where LIN is to be seeded to EPF and ESIC. Then the employer has to enroll the eligible members to pmrpy.gov.in and verify it with DSC. KYC is a must with Aadhaar. Once done, the ECR will display the eligible amount in the ECR filed, and the challan will be reduced to the extent of the eligible amount.

There are three mandatory points to consider:
1) KYC, including Aadhar, is digitally verified with UAN.
2) Gross salary per month is below 15000/-.
3) The employee has no previous UAN or any provident fund account.

The scheme allows the incentive for 36 months from the date of the 1st contribution in UAN.
