I worked in a company for 2.2 years and then joined an MNC, where I worked for 5.8 years. After resigning, I took a break for 2 years. Now, I am planning to rejoin the same MNC that I left. Recently, I heard that my first company has closed down. What should I do now? I have all the necessary details and had submitted them to this MNC previously. The verification process was successful at that time since the company was operational. However, now that it has closed, I am unable to contact any of my former colleagues. Can I still rejoin the MNC, or will there be any issues?

Dear Anony,
If this is the case, you can join the MNC. For background verification, you can provide the appointment & experience letter, along with Form 16 and bank statement showing salary credit. Company closing down won't affect your career as long as service records are legitimate in nature.
