My father had worked in an organization until February '15. He worked there for about 22 years and has now joined another company, which is a new startup. There is no ESIC in his current company, but in his previous company, his ESIC registration was done in the year 2010. So now, my query is, shall we proceed to utilize the ESIC benefits as it's been more than 5 years after registration? Will it be possible? Can anyone clarify this?

In India, as per the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948, ESIC benefits can be availed even after more than 5 years of registration, provided the contribution periods are met. Your father should check with the ESIC office to ensure all necessary conditions are fulfilled to continue availing the benefits. It is advisable to maintain continuity in ESIC coverage to safeguard against any unforeseen medical emergencies.
