Dear Mr. Korgaonkar,

If I'm not wrong, the Act will remain applicable to administrative staff in the Builder's office situated within the implemented area of ESI and having a workforce of 10 or more employees.

Dear Manoj Kamble ji, if you read the ESI circular construction 4/99, you will get the answer to your question. According to this circular, employees other than construction workers who are engaged at the site on a purely temporary basis are to be covered under ESIS.
