EPFO Circular on Aadhaar Submission for Pension Claims
As per the EPFO Circular dated 4th May 2017, the EPFO has observed that there are difficulties in the submission of Aadhaar along with pension claims from the North East Region. With reference to the same, EPFO has decided that Aadhaar may not be insisted upon for pension (Form 10 D) claims for members working in establishments located in the North Eastern states until 30th September 2017. However, all efforts are being made to link Aadhaar for members and pensioners under the Employee Pension Scheme, 1995 as early as possible.
