Hello all,

I am working as an HR in an IT company. It was an instrumentation company, but recently they have diversified into the IT sector. They did not get the license for the IT industry to date. Now management is deducting ESIC for everyone who comes under the category of ESIC. Employees are asking me not to deduct ESIC for them as they do not fall under this category. However, management is not approving the same. What should I do?

ESI is covered even for IT & ITES Companies.. So, your management decision is right.. As HR, explain the benefits of ESI to your employees and assist them to avail it.
