Respected Sir, I have show left a employee in july-16 month in ECR. But he is rejoin the company in sept. 2016. Can i continue or no the employee on same epf number.

If you have indicated the date of leaving in the ECR, then you cannot continue with the same EPF No. You need to allocate a separate new PF Code with a new joining date and ensure it is linked with the UAN No already assigned.

If the person concerned has not withdrawn or transferred his accumulations, his existing EPF number will continue. P K Sharma
