Hi, I was working as a PRT in KVS and submitted my resignation 10 days ago. I left the job on July 1, 2016, after obtaining my No Due Certificate on resignation grounds. However, they have not responded yet. I am supposed to join a new job in Delhi before August 5, 2016. I have not mentioned my previous job in my current job documents, but I did inform KVS about my current employment.

Therefore, I want to know if joining my new job in Delhi will cause any problems. I do not wish to take any benefits from KVS. Please reply soon as I am in a dilemma. Thank you.

It's commendable that you're being proactive in seeking advice regarding your situation. Here's what you need to know:

1. 🚠Resignation from KVS: As per the labor laws in India, your employer is obliged to accept your resignation. If you've given the notice period as per your contract and completed all the formalities, you're legally clear. They should provide you with a formal acceptance of your resignation and a relieving letter. If they are not responding, you may need to follow up with them, preferably in writing to maintain a record.

2. 🚫No Mention of Previous Job: Not mentioning your previous employment to your new employer might not cause any legal issues, but it's always advisable to be transparent about your work history. It could potentially cause problems in the future if your new employer discovers this and perceives it as dishonesty. However, if you're not planning to use any benefits or experience from KVS, it might not be a significant issue.

3. 🔪Joining New Job: As long as you've properly resigned from KVS and have your No Due Certificate, you should be able to join your new job without any problems.

4. ⛸️Legal Issues: If KVS doesn't respond or creates any issues, you may need to consult with a labor lawyer. They can guide you on the legal steps to take to protect your rights.

Remember, it's always better to maintain transparency in your professional dealings to avoid any complications down the line. Good luck with your new job in Delhi! 🕸️🤍
