Dear Members,
I need help on whether Mahavir Jayanti or any such gazetted holiday should be considered a national holiday when considering employees' leave. According to the policy, if an employee takes leave both before and after the holiday, will these holidays be deducted from the employee's leave account?

Hi,
Any local (i.e. State Festivals) can be considered as national festival holidays decided by the management. Leaves taken before and after the festival or national holidays can be taken into account. For example, if an employee takes leave on August 14 and 16, it can be considered, not on August 15.
Thanks,
Priya.
