Sukanya Samriddhi Account Rules 2016 Notification
The Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, has notified the Sukanya Samriddhi Account Rules 2016 via its Notification dated March 18, 2016 [F.No.2/3/2014.NS-II], published in the recent Extraordinary Gazette of India. These rules shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette, i.e., March 18, 2016.
These rules cover the following major points: Opening of Account, Deposits, Mode of Deposit and Date of Credit, Interest on Deposit, and Operation of Account.
