Hi, I got a call from Shine.com stating that I have been selected for Sr. HR Executive for HDFC bank. They are asking me to pay Rs.2050/ which is refundable. Kindly let know your opinion on this.

This is surely a scam. Please avoid paying. If you were supposed to pay any agency for shortlisting you for a potential offer, which you are likely to crack, they would have declared beforehand. Here it doesn't show you knew about this company until you received your offer from HDFC.
