Hi guys, I am working for a very small company that has employees in the single digits and is not paying the salary as mentioned in the offer letter. I am referring to the basic salary, House Rent Allowance (HRA), and travel allowance. There is also a performance allowance, but I am excluding that. The owner is saying that they will pay as they want based on performance, and that too after around 50 days. There has been no revised offer letter. The salary given is much less than what was mentioned in the offer letter. This has happened to some (most) of the employees before. Please suggest if any legal action can be taken.

Thanks

First & foremost, going legal would involve expenses......that’s one of the premises made by Nathrao. Are you OK with it? Rgds, TS

Mr. Don't want to tell my name, consult a lawyer. He will tell you his charges. There are many ways to prove less payment - offer letter v/s amount credited in the bank, etc. The lawyer will explain the matter in full.

I am ready to take action but I need some idea about the expenses and if the result will be in my favour then what will I get and the time it will take.
