Request for Tips on Time Office Management

This is Sameer. I recently joined an organization as an HR Trainee. Here, I have to manage the Time Office (Employee Attendance) and Recruitment. Time Office is very new to me. I request you to suggest some tips regarding the usage of that software.

Thanks & Regards.

Most software provides you with standard reports. Keep track of the late arrival trends, absenteeism, etc. Within a short span of time, you will grasp the organization's requirements. Just go with the flow.

Role of Time Office in HR Department

Time Office is a part of the HR Department. It deals mainly with employees' attendance, leave, payroll, and other statutory compliance.

Attendance Recording Methods

For attendance recording, a smart card or biometric system can be used. Attendance for payment processing needs to be cross-checked with the employee's daily activity records.

It is now clear whether you have to check manual attendance records on biometric attendance. Anyway, you have to check absenteeism of employees, late arrival, early departure, and mark employees going on official duty, on leave, on personal work, and regularize attendance.

Important: Among all, you have to report employees who are absent continuously to initiate disciplinary action against them. A proforma will be sent to your email to report about absenteeism. Hope it helps you.
