I applied for a PF transfer from my old organization to my new organization in mid-2013. On 27th Dec 2013, I received an SMS from the PF department stating, "Settled Amount is Rs XXXX. Sent to A/C # 311XXXX3476, IFSC Code SBINXXXX645." The PF statement from my current organization does not reflect the transferred amount. The finance department initially advised me to file a grievance at epfindia.com. Later, I was informed that updating the PF statement is the responsibility of the RPFC and that sometimes it takes time.

Concerns About PF Transfer Delay

Does it really take so long? It's already been 10 months since my money was transferred. Is there a possibility that it went to the wrong account? Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Sam

Greetings of the Day Mr. Sam, Yes, it takes time, and by time, I mean a very long time due to the backlog of pending updates and a general lethargy towards completing pending work. What I would suggest is to file a grievance again or file an RTI; it could work.

Respectfully, Ani

Wait a sec! You asked for a transfer or to withdraw the amount? If they are talking about settlement and specifying what appears to be an SBI bank account, it means they have given you the money back, not transferred it to your new employer.
