I have been working in a Private Limited Company for the past 2 years and 6 months, and I am not covered under ESI. However, my company is denying me any Maternity Benefits, stating that this Act is not applicable to our company. Despite being aware of all the facts, they simply do not want to provide payment for the specified 3-month period. What can I do to avail myself of my rights?

In such a case, please talk to your HR and inform them that you want the benefits. If they are not given to you, I will proceed with legal action. For legal proceedings, you may contact the labor court with full details of your employment.

Thank you.
