Dear Friends, I found this article worth sharing with you. Your views are welcome.

Why Should I Analyze My Thoughts:

The quality of thoughts determines the level of peace of mind. Negative thoughts result in negative actions, which, in turn, cause emotional distraction, unstable behavior, frequent mood swings, family complications, lack of trustworthiness, financial mistakes, professional conflicts, and so on. Healthy thoughts lead to more positive outcomes, a higher happiness index, better health, and so on. Ultimately, your thoughts define your present and future.

There are several reasons for negative thoughts, including but not limited to your circumstances, upbringing, financial situations, family conflicts, and job complications. While you may not be able to fix these reasons, it is highly recommended to analyze your thoughts and mitigate the negative impact as much as possible. By removing impurities from your thoughts, you can cultivate a positive, focused, and prosperous mindset.

How to Analyze My Thoughts:

If you have seen a large aquarium, you must have noticed that the fish keep wandering continuously. From right to left, bottom to top, here and there, all day long. They don't seem to be gaining any specific advantage while doing so. The same is true for the human mind. When your head hits the pillow, your brain starts wandering. Many times, it processes thoughts that should not be a point of concern at all. While fish may not understand this, you can control your brain's wandering by focusing on a specific thought or subject and asking these questions:

a) Why am I thinking about this subject? Is it related to others? Why am I thinking negatively about someone? I should mind my own business.

b) What exactly is the issue? Is this something impacting me or my family? Can I define my issue or question in one clear sentence so I can focus on the solution?

c) How can I resolve these issues? Is it achievable? If not, can I seek advice from others? If I have the solution, what steps need to be taken?

How Can I Improve the Standard of My Thoughts:

a) Avoid thinking about unnecessary things, especially related to others. Mind your own business and maintain focus.

b) Stop comparing yourself to others. It's an insult to yourself. You are a unique soul, independent in your living, decisions, and destiny.

c) Do not dwell on monetary gains excessively. Excessive love for money and assets is the root of much stress. Work on your real wealth.

d) Develop the habit of forgiving and letting go. Holding grudges for extended periods is detrimental to yourself. Stress acts as a slow poison that affects your physical and mental health.

e) Read quality quotes or articles on positivity and try to absorb the message. This will counteract negativity.

f) Practice gratitude. Avoid complaining, criticizing, and blaming. When a negative thought arises, shift your focus to the positive aspects of the issue.

g) Instead of fixating on your 'wants,' focus on your needs. This shift reduces the intensity of your focus, as needs are typically limited while wants are numerous. Embrace a simpler lifestyle to reduce unnecessary socio-economic issues.
