We are India's largest salt manufacturers, and we have operations in different parts of the country. I am working as a Human Resource Executive in a salt refinery. Our project is in Machilipatnam (Andhra Pradesh), which does not have an ESI hospital facility. Therefore, we are not providing ESI benefits to the employees. Instead, we need to allocate funds for staff welfare.

If any location is exempted from ESIC, then you need to provide benefits under the Workmen's Compensation Act. You may refer to any insurance company and check for Group Insurance, Group Personal Accident Policy, Group Mediclaim Policy, etc.
