ESIC is not centralized. If one person is working in Chennai, he can take benefits of ESIC in Chennai only, where his ESIC is deposited and what is the location mentioned on the ESIC card. He can take facilities at the location mentioned on the ESIC card. I think this will help you.

If your company has obtained ESI Code No. in Mumbai, and one of the employees covered under ESI has been posted to work in Chennai, the Company has to apply for ESI Subcode at the Regional Director, ESI Corporation, Sterling Road, Chennai-600034, along with a copy of Form-C 11. Then, a Subcode will be allotted for your Chennai Office, and the employees can avail the benefits in Chennai itself.
