I am new to the blog. I am working as an HR Trainee in a private company. I have a query regarding whether the employees covered under ESI are eligible for sick leaves under the company policy. Kindly let me know about this.

Whatever the company policy may be, if anyone is covered under ESIC, they are not eligible for sick leave because sickness benefits are already provided to them by ESIC itself.
