I am from a recruitment consultancy, and I was recruiting for Infoworld BPO in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. However, due to non-payments and a lack of coordination, we have stopped working with them, and now they are refusing to make the payments. Although there was no agreement signed, I do have the company emails in which they have agreed to the terms and conditions.

Please help me out with how I can take action against them.

Warm Regards,
R.S Consultancy.

This is really unethical. However, I would also mention that it is wrong on your part to do things without signing the agreement. Next time, please take care in that regard. I will also take precautions before working for them. Thanks for the warning.

Please evaluate for yourself what the monetary damage amounts to. You should provide specific details.

Evaluate the Terms and Conditions

Evaluate the terms and conditions that were agreed upon with them via email. Would they be any different if it was communicated through email?

Payment Refusal

If the organization is refusing to pay, what are they claiming? Is it verbal or is it documented in an email as well?

Employee Referral Source

Are they claiming that the employees came to them directly, or through another agency or internal referral?

Invoice Status

Have you already raised an invoice?

Once you have the above facts, you will be able to make an informed decision.
