hi jaonita,
gratuity is provided to an employee who hv complete continuous 5 year in service.
but i think u r preparing provision for gratuity so note the following thing --
15 days slary of is provided to an employee for every completed year.
and his last drawing salary is divided by 26 n multiplied by 15 n again multiplied by no of year emp. hv completed.
suppose an emp. who hv comepleted three years in service and who is getting 20000 p.m salary so how we make provision for gratuaity...
20000/26*15*3= payble gratuity
