Dear Members,

I am facing a challenge in effectively communicating the importance of dressing and cleanliness ethics to our employees, particularly in regards to checking on body odour, personal hygiene, and appropriate office attire.

I would appreciate some suggestions on polite approaches to address this issue.

Priya

Dear Priya,

Please prepare a dress code and insist on everybody following it. Make it compulsory for all of them to adhere to the dress code. Seek the support of your HR to implement this.

When it comes to odors, keep a room freshener with you and spray it in your workspace. I believe this is the most polite way to address this issue.

Dear Priya,

When it comes to dressing, HR personnel can establish rules and policies that employees should adhere to. Odor is not always under our control; there are situations where we need to adjust to the environment rather than spending time trying to control the smell.

At first, the company should create awareness about dressing and cleaning ethics among the staff members for conducive environment in the company then policy can be implemented. Thanks Basant
