Dear Seniors, I created a login in the employee master portal for accessing the E-passbook for PF. However, when the name and account number of the employee who joined in May 2012 were entered, it says, "Your name and number match is not correct." I would like to know what might be the problem.

EPF Member Registration

In the website, it states the following:
"Dear EPF Members!!
• Register online to view your EPF Account Passbook.
• The facility at present is only for the members for whom the employer has uploaded the Electronic Challan Cum Return for the wage month of May 2012 onwards.
many other points."

I am using the ECR method by attaching .CSV files from May 2012 onwards. Thus, data of the new joinees will be included in the file. I wanted to know where the problem lies.

Thanking you in advance.
Regards

Once I registered, I immediately received the message and was able to log in. However, when I enter the name and PF account number of the employee who joined in May 2012, it says, "You have entered an invalid Member ID or Name." When old employees' details were given, it says, "You can view your E-pass book in 3 days and you will get an SMS for the same."

Issue with E-pass Book Access

My doubt is, when the name and account number of the employee who joined in May 2012 are entered, should it give the message "You can view your E-pass book in 3 days and you will get an SMS for the same," since the website says the facility is present for those who are using the ECR method from May onwards? Or is there any other problem that I should take care of?

Hope you can help me.
