I would like to say that I am shortly going to start my career in the HR field but I feel that I have very little knowledge in the HR field as well as a general awareness of the industry, market, and politics.
When I was a student, I never liked politics, but now I feel that it's vital for the industry and it's ingrained in the blood of any industry. Without it, you cannot move one step ahead, and it also affects your communication skills because you don't have a vast knowledge of the topic and area, so you will not be able to speak much on any topic or provide a strong example.
Now, my query is:
How can I improve it very quickly so it will help me enhance my communication skills?
Is it vital to have very deep knowledge of your area's politicians' profiles? If yes, then how and which points must I know?
These days, I am watching news channels regularly, but what about the past stories? How can I get the correct info on the industry? How can I gain sound knowledge of a particular area?
How should I start searching? I am thinking of making a diary for it and I will make my own short notes. Will it help?
