I am Pradeep Kumar, a first-year MBA student specializing in Financial Markets at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. I have enrolled in the MBA program in Financial Markets, a newly introduced course by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University this year in collaboration with NSE (National Stock Exchange). The university will award us a 2-year regular MBA degree, and there will be approximately 15 certification tests by NSE, with the marks being credited towards the MBA degree.
My Questions
1. What kind of opportunities will be available?
2. What is the scope of the course, and what kind of companies will hire in this field?
3. What job profiles do graduates typically obtain?
Work Experience
I have worked with IBM Global Business Process Services Pvt. Ltd for 15 months as a Customer Care Executive in eCare (resolving issues via email). Will this experience help me in securing a placement?
I kindly request your response to these queries to help me plan my future, as two years are too short to fully understand the Indian Financial Markets.
Apologies for another question: How should I approach placements (interview prospects)?
You can reply to this thread or email me at [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons]. I am eagerly awaiting your replies. Thank you in advance!
Thanks and Regards,
Pradeep Kumar

As far as your experience is concerned, it has no relevance. If you are good at the basics, you will have a good opening and a nice career. Focus on learning rather than earning at the initial stage of your career.

I am an MBA graduate. Recently, I received an offer from one of the leading banking operations companies in the department of Global Investigations. Could you provide me with information on the activities involved in GI and whether it is suitable for my qualification (MBA in Finance)?
